Green Talks is holding an art contest!
Green Talks, our annual TED Talk-style environmental conference, is holding an art contest in which all submitted art will be displayed in our art gallery on April 27th. When you enter your creation into the Green Talks Art Contest you get the chance to win $75 worth of sustainable art supplies of your choice*.
The theme is Imagining Our Green Future! Create a painting, photo, collage, sculpture, or any artwork that showcases how you imagine a more sustainable future.
We request but do not require that art be made with recycled materials or that the work itself be recyclable.
Max Dimensions should be about the size of a microwave (24in x 24in x 24in)
To submit your work fill out the google form here and drop off your art piece at the Sustainability Resource Center (located in Price Center across from the Bookstore):
Mon-Thur from 1-4 PM
Submissions are due by April 25th.
The Craft Center will host crafty hours on April 11 & 12 from 6 pm to 8pm. This is a great opportunity to upcycle materials to create your master artwork for the contest!
